Jason J. Coochwytewa

Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Jason is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for CoNecs North America.  He is a seasoned professional with 25+ years of expert knowledge in advertising, public relations and events, with special expertise in multicultural markets – particularly Native American.

Jason spent several years as the director of account services and business development for top agencies in Arizona and Nevada, managing marketing, PR, and advertising projects for clients including the Office of Problem Gambling, Inter-Tribal Council of Arizona, the Arizona Department of Health Services’ Tobacco Education and Prevention Program, among others. He was also an integral team member in the launch of a major tribal casino resort property, overseeing brand development and advertising.

Jason has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arizona State University and serves on various boards of directors including Arizona Science Center, Grand Canyon Conservancy, NABI Foundation, and served as chairman of the board for both the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Arizona and the Arizona American Indian Tourism Association. 

Jason is a graduate of Valley Leadership – Class 26 and has received numerous honors including the Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award, the Arizona American Indian Excellence in Leadership’s Outstanding American Indian Man of the Year, and the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development's "40 Under 40 in Indian Country", a national recognition.
